You don't die immediately when reaching zero food so maybe the bat just hit you (they can move multiple tiles in a single turn). Either way I've updated the game to guarantee more food drops as long as you continue to press forward.
Getting to 999 on Hard and crashing the first time was disappointing. The second time was outrageous. The third time, you'll be hearing from my attorney.
Suggestion: Bundle sales upgrade. Sell 2,3,4 and so on at a time. I produce so much that selling it's only logical to sell at a lower price to maintain cost effectiveness and have a good turn over.
In all seriousness, the load times are horrid. At first I thought it was my computer or connection, but even after refreshing the load page stood nearly 45 minutes with a full load bar at "Downloading". The game seems like a good fusion of CCG and Tower Defense games, but if I have to wait that long just to start one level, the game isn't worth the time to play.
