Hate to say it but the game seems a bit under-developed... To have only 6 story missions and as many as time consuming missions that do not allow for actual "loot" except for the quest rewards is bogus, in chests, all you get are potions, status heals, and buffs, but rarely do magic chests yield supplies, and almost all floors seem to lead to extremely time consuming battles (battles seem more time consuming when you realize you have to fight at least 20 of them before the end of a 50 area dungeon, and the reward for doing so is minimal). If you take a look at my pet protector seires, there are only a few dungeons that have more than 5 or 10 floors, that is how this layout should be for this game.
If you added a weapon equipment option (i.e. blacksmith upgrade that sells weapons or upgrades weapons) and interaction with the battle system, it would make the game even more appealing, although I thoroughly enjoy the game and it's premium content as it is.
Strategy for an endless game after the recent update: Save the scrolls "polymorph" "First strike" and "teleport" and let them stack up (they yield high HP for trade in). Save these for HP when you need them on floors 50 to infinity. At the beginning of the game try to buy over 100 attack at the first shop (or 200 attack if you have enough money). Use assassin because of the 35 initiative, and use the dagger for it's ability (no strike back every 3 turns). Fully upgraded assassin + dagger + 200 attack should get you to floor 150+... after floor 150, hearts give over 100 HP per heart. Also to note, if you encounter the "save the villagers" quest, clear out the dungeon, because you will recieve double reward for coins and health. With the double health reward, plus a few hearts, your health will be maxed easily at 999. Keep saving scrolls in case you get in a tight spot, but you should be able to manage with this much health until the next quest comes along. Rinse and repeat.
This game needs badges... Suggestions: easy badge: Gather 10,000 gold. medium badge: reach floor 50. Hard badge: reach floor 150. Impossible badge: reach floor 500+ (This badge is more time consuming than it is impossibly difficult). + if you agree.
People have been asking this... So here it is: Magic = Fire, Lightning, and Ice. Fire + Ice = Gem, Lightning + Ice = Poison, Fire + lightning = Explosion, and for any of the level 2 magics, if you pick up a third one (even if you have fire and ice, and you pick up another fire or ice) you end up with Chaos. Chaos is by far, the strongest magic, but is not as effective for getting a higher score as with lightning, because the cost is so high. + to keep comment alive.
For everyone wondering, Green set = Nature's blessing: +10 chop +64 regen, I would assume since the regen is not a round number, some of the stats are based on the composite level of the items in the set.
I would like an update and chance to access features of the Ipad/phone/touch on my PC because I do not own any of the above. I also prefer the computer anyways. If this is possible, please update Kongregate's version of your game soon.
The last boss on the second playthrough has 4620800 HP... Obviously the best way to win = Light Copper Sword + Poison, Slow, Armor break... and defensive stance... or just power level a bunch... but the first option is less tedious and time consuming haha
@ Joshoooah, try a second playthrough after you beat the first boss... starts off easy again... kinda... but get to the last part of it and fight the skulloctopus and say it is easy... has way too much HP making it seemingly invincible hahaha
Best weapon is easily the "Light Copper Sword". The speed allows very defensive playstyle, on the second playthrough, it is an absolute must. Just use hell thorn to poison enemies, poison damage will do most of the work, then use phoenix strike and ramei to slow the enemy and damage it more with poison (armor break allows higher damage from poison damage also)
In-game achievements would be cool too - Damage of 100, 500, 1000, 5000, 10000 (can be from proc, crit, cleave, etc.), Armor of 100, 500, 1000, Floor x reached (10, 50, 100, 500), sets acquired (green, red, brown, gold, blue) among other achievements that you could maybe think of.
Maybe add impossible badge, and maybe different soul stages depending on how many soul collectors have been defeated (i.e. soul+1 adds +1 every time you defeat the soul collector, if you die then you have to start over from soul +1) Impossible badge "Soul collector +10" would be cool, and maybe impossible badge of 500 floors cleared or 1000 floors.
Hmmm, pc release? =)
