Things that should be a bare minimum for any MMORPG: Auto-attack. Keyboard controls. Quest markers. The ability to try different classes before settling on one.
Also, the control are usually just fine except for a few levels. Level 30 in particular, had my base repeated leaving the power pylon of its own accord, my pixels had a tendency to go in the opposite direction of where I point them (usually into a bombing run), and my pixels were somehow lost the ability to move against the arrows.
1) I truly wish there was more explanation of the mechanics. It's frustrating having to repeat a level because you didn't realize, say, that the acceleration circles also provide a temporary attack boost.
2) You should really be able to see the whole map in a single screen. Not being able to see a good opening off-screen really adds fake difficulty.
You should only name your game Starship Escape if it's an escape game. This is like naming a racing game NASCAR Tower Defense. A more accurate title would be Starship Another-Goddamn-Shooterial-Game.
