I've played a lot of games that are similar to this... and I must say, the controls are somewhat sloppy. Aiming is extremely difficult since the playing field always seems to be so close to the top of the screen. Add in six enemy bunkers that can all shoot at nearly the same time with brilliant accuracy and the game loses it's sparkle. Not to mention that needing to defeat six bunkers in under 60 seconds makes anyone hate the game, no matter how pretty it looks.
Good job keeping up the difficulty associated with the genre. I was wondering why you warned about the difficulty of the game when I was playing through the first few levels, and then my main cannon depowered...
I love the ideas for some of the waves, 19 (swarm) and 21 (popcorn?) being my favorite, though I only got to wave 24.
Was thinking maybe you could create powerup meters of some sort, letting you know how much time you have before a your gun buddies die or your weapon levels down.
Oh yeah, enemies appearing from behind is a horrible move >:c
aside from the fact that I was being chased by a perma ghost....... It's really quite an entetaining game.... makes me think of a shooter version of Amorphous+
well, I came i late to the game and look at that, I can't find any bugs.....
it's very nicely balance already, and different sized deck require you to think differently. I managed to pick up on the game without reading the instructions, relying on the hint system, which worked perfectly.
A lot of people seem to be complaining of overpowered/underpowered characters, find their individual weaknesses and strengths and use them to your advantage, different decks require different plying styles at their core.
My word man, this must have taken TIME and PATIENCE to code, no to mention logic to think up these puzzles.
The idea of using time travel in this game is amazing, though it doesn't cover all of the circumstances of time travel, (like time traveler's immunity, thought that doesn't work since there are clones...) but then it would take even longer to incorporate them, and have levels that use them..
I find myself playing this over and over again, the game play and graphics are great, if you could exspand the game into some adventure type it would be a great hit
ok, hearing that amazing music as soon as I load up the game is a big plus.
the ability to enhance and hinder your opponents progress also makes this version much better than bubble racing.
And don't worry about all those bad reviews, most people don't understand the backbracking work creating a game involves.
Looking forward to your future work.
