There were (and still are) some problems with videos. Sometimes it was indicated that a video is available, but when you wanted to watch it, it wasn't available anymore. In other cases multiple videos were aborted/skipped until one worked. And because there aren't many videos in general for some players depending on their location, may players weren't able to watch videos at all.
That's the reason why I added the Reload Rewards with the last update. They are a little bit inconvenient, but I hope an acceptable alternative when videos aren't working again.
