Well, after reading the comments, it seem the wall jumps aretedious to do. Despite that, i managed to find the courage to keep going.... until level 27. Level 26 teach you about fire boost jump, which is HOLDING shift, then w, then a direction (i think?). And this is my problem (mainly because of bad controls settings... why not allow players to use arrows keys / configure keys?) At level 27, you are required to do a boost jump TO THE LEFT. This doesn't seem much to you, but to me, when i press shift and w, I CAN'T MOVE LEFT, even if i press the "a" key. Not only that, the jump height depends of how long you press both shift and w. Because of that, there is a jump that is legit impossible for me to do... But yeah, flexible keys configuration is important... or else, not everyone will "enjoy" playing (and there is already very few people, because of the wall jumps)
It's a good concept... but the game physics are bad. The career have levels that should NOT be there, because it's near impossible to finish them (or literally impossible) (city 7, sea 9, UFO 7, UFO 9, hard 4, hard 6 and hard 7). In career, we are supposed to get challenging, yet FAIR levels, not levels that requires the use of glitches / precise timing / weird controls / impossible platform.
I'm not asking for levels where we can't die. I'm asking for levels where it's evident what to do (not like in the levels "hard") and not frustating (no point to die 1k+ times just to reach the first checkpoint).
There is a difference between "difficult" and "fun". Frustation levels are NOT fun.
Another problem with career is the bad checkpoints placements. We often die after a long path without a checkpoint, only to redo everything again.
the feeling when you get more than 100 stars, and then realise that your total score is something around 2k, and see that the devs score is nearly 3k. The devs really made some try hard ;) (so far, only 4 kong. people have beat the devs total score, and one even managed to reach 4k lol )
I finished the game without used any hint (even if lvls 20, 21 and 22 were a little tricky to beat). After that, i tried toimprove at lvl 21. In the end, i completed it with only 3 moves (I checked the hints by curiousity, and i'm better than the hints) . I'm sure this is the best you can do on this lvl.
Nice game. I'm sure it wasn't esay to find all these puzzles with the new hints system and without having to "guess". At least, it's quite an interesting challenge for those who are excellent at the normal minesweeper. And if this is not enough, you even created a level generator, which is, i believe, an impressive fact considering the features. Even if in most of the cases, those created levels are easier than the 68 normal levels, it's still hard to create a working level generator. Again, great job.
i have one thing to say about bots: on team battles, when there are only bots alive, it's likes noobs playing the bots (they didn't move for make easier shoots). So, here is an idea: if you died and if your teammate is a bot, you are able to "control" the bot. This will certainly avoid useless bad turns at the end, when there are 1 bot vs 1 bot.
It's a little bad that beta testers "loses" theirs accounts... All leveling work for beta, but we can't retake your beta account :(
But maybe i can remake everything, i just need some time (a lot of time)
what the hell is this mystery cave? is this the reward for finding all hidden yellow/orange hearts? (if i am right, i find 9 or 10 hearts)
Also, i didn't need big ball for super secret. I just activate the "WorldMap_NoClip" cheat XP
Finnaly, i didn't want to play with "just ridiculous" cheat, because it's just ridiculous impossible :P
it is not a bad game, but the arena system must be improved. Personnaly, i think that all newbie will have many trouble to have at least one victory, because players are randomly choosen. It can be good if we can challenge players with close experience, or solo mode progres.
