The boss fights have a nasty habit of spawning zombies on top of you, or in places that pen you in. I don't like having to pray to the random number gods to win, when most of the game is skill based.
I just won as Sparta on turn 92, even though I have "no contact" with Troy. Looking below, Kvaak seems to have encountered the same issue. I also won by attacking an ally, so this seems to be pretty consistent.
Augh! This is my favorite game to play while listening to podcasts. I need to start working again!

Hmm. On the Archmage level a druid holding a gem died over water while terrified. His shadow and little swirl of scary skulls remained, the gem disappeared and the level wouldn't end. Irksome.
GOT IT with the Bunny. I floated along the outside of the platform on the left, bounced on the two middle platforms, then hopped on the top edge of the two last platforms on the left. Satisfying.
With the Bunny, I was trying to do that awkward little wall jump where you bounce off a wall without changing gravity, but I couldn't get it to work twice consecutively. Ditto for sliding along the outside of the platforms on the sides. I also tried using the floaty-ness at the edge of the tunnel, but that didn't quite work either. That did work with the Angel though.
New achievement called "Clever Bunny." I assumed a certain long-ear would be the right choice. The Bunny is my favorite, so I figured it'd be easy. Nope I couldn't crack it.
So I tried the Angel and got it right away. Oh well.
Yeah, I guess he'd be the easier choice. It's definitely possible with the Bunny, but it requires multiple advanced techniques. See if you can figure out which.
I misread the new "Dodge the Squares" achievement and thought I had to do it with the skater. That was very hard, but I did it. Then I noticed I didn't get the achievement, and figured out why. Derp. Doing it with the runner is much easier.
This game seems like it could have been worthwhile if a little more work had been put into it. Getting stuck without the rare resources you need is inevitable, being unable to manually save sucks and the area I need to click to access the space station or refinery is displaced halfway across the screen from where they appear to be. There but for the lack of some polish and more gameplay goes a decent game.
I really thought, when I got the sixth car, it was going to leave flaming tire tracks and unlock a hidden bonus stage, when I got it going fast enough. Sigh.
OK. It's pay to win. I accept that. The writing is stupid and forgettable. That's standard for this kind of game. What I can not accept are the creepy smiles. Especially on the goblin and the crow.
I hate those smiles every time I see them.
Well done!
