Having trouble running the game. I get to the end of the first level (where you "kill the rest") and the game shows a big bouncing arrow saying you've completed the level, but no level transition occurs.
A really good little game that is as frustrating as it is simple. But it's not frustrating in a bad way; there is always a solution you just have to think a little bit. I like games like that.
One of the best games on Kongregate - and there are some amazing games here. Not only is the game dynamic completely unique, but the author managed to create emotion around...a sprite! Using music and well-written words, this game is really a tour de force. I look forward to seeing more from this author.
Finally got the hard badge! I'm "level 29" but I think with what I know now it's doable at level 25, possibly sooner. The strategy that I used was to wait to upgrade until the towers could specialize - this means waiting until 1000xp, using a combination of dens (medium range, physical), crypts (long range) and temples (close range, fire). Dens are great at the entrance for splash damage. Temples are great at choke points. Crypts are great everywhere else. Most of my map solutions are crypt heavy, primarily because of the crypt's great range and fear/freeze make them the best tower in the game. Also, the Ghost Crypt gives mana that, after an upgrade to forestry, can be converted to gold! That turned out to be a huge efficiency bonus, as all that mana you don't use on non-ninja levels can be used for other things.
4/5 Very pretty music, soothing graphics. Will be nice to play if I need to relax. Minus a star because it's less of a game and more of a relaxation tool
an interesting concept, but I personally didn't really take to it. I muddled through 20 battles for the card, but probably won't play it again. 3/5 stars.
very nice game. I didn't think you could really improve on the last games (which I really liked) but you did. Very clever weapon concepts and a lot of fun. 5/5
The only drawback is that the game seems to require a very fast computer - my laptop has a hard time with it even on low quality.
