It's decent, I suppose. The graphics work, the game is glitch-free, the controls are responsive and nothing mars the simple thrills of the initial playthrough. However, a couple design flaws left me unwilling to gather medals (Like any of the time medals, or the 100% kills in level 1) and the mech isn't maneuverable enough to make the waves of fire in survival mode a compelling challenge.
Huh... interesting twist on the tower defense formula. I'd like to see more player interaction, though-- Maybe some parts of the map intersect, and if two players try to place a tower on the same square they're both destroyed.
Not a bad idea, but the interface could use a little work. If there was some way to move a single part connected to a group, or resize an attached object, that would be marvelous.
A minimum deck size (like, around 40 cards) would make this much more challenging. As-is, it's too easy to build a deck around powerful card combinations, especially since losing via deck isn't much of a threat.
Good proof of concept... You may have solved the breakout problem. I'd be interested in seeing a version of this with no projectile motion but a spherical paddle.
