I find this game weak and little entertaining.
The makers did nothing more than just "build something" around a concept that was in sé, well thought of.
I like it, but it's very nonresponsive especially to the spacebar.
When I hit spacebar I want it to select the bot in the other room dammit, not to sometimes do and sometimes not to.
What?? I played through this FIVE TIMES like a freak on speed just to beat the six minute counter and.. get to play as goddamn Mel Gibson who can't even Shift or jump. RAGH!
continuing: there's a spelling error in Summon Dimensional Shambler: the card says Shamber with the L missing. working on some art, and let me tell you I was looking and found the King in Yellow at the library yesterday
This is a great game, thank you for it GamesofCthulhu!
It has been nice seeing it advance, so far I would like to add the following: it's great that you extended the opponent's card display, but it would be nice if this effect didn't impair us (the player) from making moves like selecting cards, for purposes of reading them. It would make gameplay smoother and make that phase more dynamic.
Card art has improved -a lot- thanks to the contributors, and is looking very nice up till now. I can't seem to appreciate the Elder Thing image though. It just doesn't fit.
Gameplay is good, not perfect nor fine. Some more insanity effects would make it more exciting (there's more of these meaningful forms of insanity).
continuing soon.
