It is ridiculously easy to die in this game if you lose track of how many bullets you have, how much food/forage/water you have, or even if you just click at the wrong angle on the map. That said? Once you get the hang of it, it's quite rewarding to go from basically nothing to merchant king/queen.
Nolegs is fairly good for survival, believe it or not - from what I see he has the fastest movement speed, and that is *important* when you're trying to be precise. There is one thing, and only one thing, I would change about this game - MAKE THE MOUSE STICK TO THE PLAYING FIELD! I cannot count the number of times I have overcompensated to get away from something and tried to use a subweapon, only to find myself clicking something completely outside the field - like a link. Which... tends to ruin one's run, as you might imagine.
Unfortunately, there's quite a bit of slowdown later in the game, and enemies LOVE to swarm you. When you've got two or three supercarriers on the screen at once, this becomes a major problem, even with the final ship. Upgradeable weapons would make this a MUCH more enjoyable experience.
It would be extremely nice if you either A: gave us enough time at the end of a level to collect eggs, or B: made them autocollect at the end of a level. A collection upgrade (magnet) would also be really nice. Otherwise, nice game.
Okay. Played through all the badges, and now I have a couple of significant gripes. One: Collision detection, especially on the robots. It's terrible. I've watched robots pass through my car without breaking multiple times. Two: The custard pies. The splash effect is amusing, but not when it makes you miss the three pies right behind the one you hit. Also, same deal as with the robots - collision detection. Three: This is a racing game, and you're seriously telling me there's no way to upgrade or even adjust handling? Bad form. It's a good game, but it has some crippling flaws. Three of five.
Boss kill combo: Trollface, shield, death ray, burst. Activate shield and death ray, ram boss while death ray is activating, double click to activate burst. Takes down the second boss with three repeats.
It's not a terrible game, but it'd be quite nice if the game paused when you click outside the frame. This happens roughly once per mission for me - I'll try to swing quickly from aiming at one side to the other, try to shoot, only to find out that my mouse is out of frame and I'm in for a world of hurt. Especially annoying when it happens in the middle of a swarm of flying enemies.
It would be very nice if there was an option to unequip things. Because of the lack of this, I cannot fully max out my stats unless I start over from scratch - and since I've got everything but stamina maxed out already, that's really something I'd rather avoid. Also, there seems to be a bug with the stripe - each time you click it after purchasing it, your speed increases by 20, though I'm not sure this actually effects anything.
Problems with the Ship Infector minigame: The targeting reticule needs to be a brighter color, it's extremely easy to lose track of it. The ship's hit box is MUCH larger than the ship itself, even getting close to an enemy will punch your ticket. The gun upgrades are not in step with the difficulty level - you really need to die at least once around round 5 to keep ahead of the curve (preferably after killing all but one enemy). I enjoy this particular minigame, so it's kind of a shame that it has those crippling flaws.
Engineer, kitchen track four, challenge mode, rocket towers. Cordon off the bottom area with three barricades (two under the pie, one under the cheese), place four rockets in a broken line from the toast to the pie (one by the toast, one by the pie, two in the middle). Move as needed to bring enemies back to the towers, begin placing rockets in a straight line up and down next to each spawn; four per spawn is plenty. You shouldn't even need to move anymore by about round 12. Take one shot (and make sure it hits) and make sure you don't get hit to get a flawless General rank (you only have to do this one time, since rank doesn't matter after the first run with this method; a point in movement speed might help). Map gives roughly 9.5k exp per run on challenge mode.
This game is completely unplayable; it lags horribly to the point where it actually freezes my whole browser and prevents me from using my mouse for anything else when I go into any of the actual play modes.
It would be nice if there wasn't a ridiculous amount of lag when using the stationary defense tactic. I'm sitting here trying to aim at a zombie and NOPE, mouse goes sluggish and doesn't register clicks until it's halfway across the screen. Thankfully it resolves if you let off the stationary button for a sec, but still extremely annoying. Otherwise, nice little timewaster.
Best way I've found to get cash in this game is to play the missions where you have to destroy specific targets. Clear out a corner of the map and then just kill everything that moves without taking down the other targets. You can easily net a thousand on the easier of the two maps that work this way.
It would really be quite nice if the game would run while you were browsing/doing something else in another tab or window. That way at least when you need/want gems you don't have to just sit there and watch the paint dry (or run off to do something else) while you could be doing something fun. Like playing another game. Any other game.
