Finally managed to click the right pixels and am now desparately trying to find out if the mouse hole by the toilet is the big black thing in the corner or hidden on a 3x3 pixel area beside the toilet the way the wire was hidden behind the sink.
Very good game, but I started in the middle learning the hard way (which in itself was fun) only to learn that there are actually numbers on the grates and switches. I can't see those even at maximum magnification (about 1600x1200). While stylish, the graphics are extremely unfriendely to my eyes. 4/5 for a 6+ game with graphics that are downright dangerous.
Get rid of the buggy walkthrough window, also don't make me restart every time that I want to continue from the main menu. UGH. 5/5 for a great game (even like the music) but 2/5 because it just doesn't work, sorry.
Also the music is annoying and cannot be turned of independently from effects. And more importantly: It seems that collision detection is slightly off. Not so good really.
I see three problem with the game, which is otherwise a good shoter with a cute story. First: since I use the arrow keys to move, I have to stop moving to hit space for a zero write. Second is the utter randomness of the levels, any level can be dirt easy or near impossible depending on the random spawns, there is no consistency in the difficulty of the level (this means grinding on later levels give anything from 20 to 1000+ bits per attempt). Third: I cannot see a description of the zero writer anyway, will I get all the bits for all the virus on the screen or just the bits on screen and kill off the virus without getting bits?
