As a fan of strategy/economy games with long production chains, I gotta say, this is one of my favorite spins on idle/incremental genre. You should definitely keep developing the game. No specific suggestions or anything, just a word of appreciation.
Thanks, glad you like it. I have a lot of ideas and players are providing interesting suggestions as well, so as long as the game covers my costs, I will add more features and content to the game.
I'm torn about this game. I really want to like it, because I support the fight against freemium games, which are taking over the market. But to the game itself is still not very good. It takes literally two upgrades to turn it into an idle - the lightning rod+magnet. You don't have to do anything past that.
And while I like the idea that you start with all the upgrades, and then they are taken away, it really steals the fun of getting to see what the game becomes as you progress.
And, as others have said - the upgrades are not very original. It's all we've seen in previous games, only split into many categories.
"Doesn’t work properly on Internet Explorer, Edge and Safari" - Wait wait, so... since there is no game... does that mean I should or shouldn't use those browsers to not-play it?
With the importance of land, footprint, perquisites etc. - How about (and that would be a major feature, I feel) adding a graph/chart section, that would enable us to see what is taking up most of the footprint, what building is wasting most of the money, etc?
A footprint-usage graph is actually very cheap. Could you please put a more detailed request of what you would like to see in the wiki? http://first-empire.wikia.com/wiki/Feature_Requests
It might be a bit... Brutal, but I'd replace "Ascension" with something like "Mass extinction event". It makes sense - you lose all your infrastructure, all you technology, almost all of your population, but the few that do survive come out naturally stronger.
Since it's already possible to insert a custom number of units to buy, it would also be nice to be able to write that number in all the available notations, ie: buy 11B queens instead of 11000000000
Good idea, added to my to-do list. Until then, inputting (for example) "1e6" for 1,000,000 has worked for a while.
EDIT: As of v1.0.39, inputting "11B" and "11e9" both work!
@Stalthdan
I wouldn't call that 'good news'. Not for the MARDEK fans, at least. You forgot to mention that Pseudo is completely changing the setting, pretty much removing all sci-fi elements, since Belfan is now a province, not a planet, and Annunaki are no longer aliens. Elements get completely removed, to be replaced by a system where water magic is now Sadness Magic and fire magic is Bravery Magic. The game is also supposed to be streamlined, removing the openness we had in M3. And on top of that, everybody gets turned into a furry, with Deugan being a lionperson and Emela being a deerperson.
Bad GUI aside, I think reenabling micromanaging should be the highest priority - highest as in, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE RELEASED AN UPDATE WITHOUT IT. There is basically no reason for me to have this game open, I can just come once every day to restart and rebuy my stuff. And even rebuying my stuff is going to take twice as long.
I actually liked the old, simple design more, but this one is really nice.
HOWEVER, There should be an option to disable the scrolling "Buy"/"Printing/Squeezing/etc" text on the buttons. It's really annoying.
You click on the poopmonger shouldn't need to be that precise. Actually, there should be an upgrade - a very expensive one, probably - that would make you click all the poops in the X radius of your mouse.
To everybody complaining about all the coins lagging their computers:
You should always keep one unupgraded blue board to switch to when you idle. When you zoom in on an area all the flying coins from other areas don't get created, so it will work with full effectiveness.
No, the 30 seconds long screaming giraffe is NOT ENOUGH, we also need our sites logo that goes 'Burp!" Every time your mouse is near it, even if everything else is muted!
Thanks for the feedback, I will think about it.
