Raziel1231 - the black critters require a bit more upgraded towers - squirt towers with less than 3 upgrades don't really hurt them. The crucial thing to understand in this game is that it's MUCH better to have few towers highly upgraded, than many towers with only few upgrades. I'd recommend building a maze with normal pellet towers, and around the middle of the screen put one squirt tower early on, and concentrate on upgrading it. Also place a swarm tower in the middle, and keep upgrading it between waves of fliers. A bash tower is expensive, but it's very much worth it, and worth upgrading; bash towers are great for all ground-based critters, except for bosses; for the bosses you need a few centrally placed squirt towers fully upgraded.

All the regular difficulty modes are not too difficult to beat without juggling, and indeed, you can achieve quite high scores with just clever placement and upgrading of the right towers. On medium difficulty, my personal best is 7672 points, without juggling. Don't think that the 100 challenge can be won without juggling though... if it can, I'd like to know how! :)

There's a bug in the game where sometimes the left mouse button stops working, while your cursor is over the play area; you can't select units to upgrade them, and while you can pick new units to place on the map, when you move the cursor over the play area, the left clicking won't place the unit. VERY annoying to have this happen in a game where you're doing well.

I agree in that absorption is almost a game-breaker - there's no way to anticipate (except by repeated playing, and remembering what comes next) which kinds of absorption abilities enemies are likely to have, and further, you often seem to need lots of a particular type of damage for some wave, and then have an enemy that absorbs that type of damage coming later. With no mechanism to stop a certain type of mage from firing, and no way to counter the absorption, this just seems to be a bad idea to have in the game. Otherwise the concept works very well.

Nice game concept - more variety in sea life, and larger play area (the explorable "sea" area was tiny!), and more levels, additional sea-life variety on later levels, perhaps monetary rewards for pictures, and some equipment improvements that you could purchace with your money, and this would be great game.

Sad to see that whatever security hole in the game allowed the scoreboard to be hacked in the first game, hasn't been found/fixed for the second one - again you see impossible scores appearing on the top. I guess it would be too much to ask for whoever is hacking those scores to contact the maker of the game and reveal the flaw - they seem to be having too much fun seeing their names on top, with scores next to them everybody knows they didn't achieve through playing. Barring that, perhaps the maker of the game could add a bit of code that periodically automatically deletes impossibly high scores.

okdewit - definitely not "just a skin". The game mechanics are the same, but there are clear changes: the coffee to help with shooting, the new prices, and the greatly reduced price of the decoration that gives you a big bonus. I think the relative value of gun powder has increased too. Harder in the beginning, but gets easy once you get the decoration - it's a bit unbalancing. In addition, the shoot lengths have decreased all-round, which makes the game play time shorter. That's definitely an improvement. And the game now has the option to mute sound and music, something essential that the first version lacked.

The idea is sound, but the lack of variety in strategy kinda makes you lose intrest quickly - attacking through summoned creatures is the only way of damaging the opponent. A wider variety of different kinds of cards would be good, plus a way to build good non-creature heavy decks.

Needs more levels - too easy right now. 100 levels would be good, and the difficulty should go up markedly in latter levels, so that you'd actually have to use some sort of strategy and a combination of towers to win.

A nice idea, though the balancing needs tweaking - currently there's little sense in saving up for other than dart towers, until you can sell a few of them to get a super monkey. Pretty straighforward to win the game. More towers, and/or more upgrades for towers, plus a little cost balancing and added difficulty to make actually planning a strategy, and using a variety of towers worth it.

I agree with calidenbakerist - the mute feature should be fixed! Currently it mutes sound from ALL flash aplications you may have running. The mute should obviously affect only the sounds from this game.

This is more like an educational tool, but probably pretty handy at that. Might be nice to get some sort of feedback in the end - it would make it a little more interesting if the game kept statistics on how well, on average, people do, and give you an idea on how you compare, in your knowledge of the elements.

Auser - better than to waste money on a freaky on the second round, buy one pair of skis and two thrusters. Fire off both the thrusters right after shooting out of the canon, and you'll reach a pretty good height; and skis are great when you are falling from a great height. You'll be reaching past 1300 with a good shot with that combination.

Nice game. Too few turn based games around anyway, methinks. Too bad it's a demo version, and progression really stops after three tournaments. Four stars.

mikegraham - if you are buying everything and still getting only around 7500, then you are DEFINITELY doing something wrong. Experiment with the order in which you use your upgrades. Tip: How much bounce the skis give you depends on the height you are falling from. Freaky's are better used when you aren't falling from a great height, because in a situation where you are falling from a great height, you loose a lot of height momentum with the freaky.

Got to the "major legue" levels, and I've got to say that I'm baffled - it unlocks "play at mousebreaker", and when you click it, it opens another web-page (apparently "mousbreaker" site) in the tiny game window... which means that you can only see about a quarter of the page. You can click "pinch hitter 2" on that page, which opens the game, but in a window size that doesn't fit into the little game window at Kongregate. In short, first, it SHOULD open the mousbreaker site as a separate window. Second, that it only shows you to the main site, rather than directing you to the game itself where it would continue where you left off, is incredibly lame. Downgrading my rating for this game to four stars till this gets addressed somehow.

For getting through the game, you have to choose the upgrades wisely - getting the most expensive thing you can afford isn't always the best option. To get past the latter rounds, you've got to get enough money along the way to buy enough upgrades. This means, that, to start with, after the first round, you should afford to buy 1 freaky. The freaky on round 2 will allow you to get past 500m, which will give you a nice bit of money - now you COULD afford two freakys, but is that really the best option? You can do better than that... I'll leave it to you to find out how. With the right purchaces to maximise your length potential each round, by the time you get to froggy, if you've done well in your shooting and aiming, it's possible to even have enough money to already afford ALL upgrades.
