I really enjoyed this! The meaning felt like it came from the words rather than the mechanic (since most of the interaction was directed away from the family/friends). Not a bad thing - just an observation. But all-in-all, it gets the point across.

This was a pretty interesting idea! I did have some trouble with keypresses being registered fast enough so I'd end up with "bng" or "splsh."
