so, assault command ship +epic heavy afterburner -weapons +75 heavy drones = dead level 50 officer & dead Asterox commander in 2 min... i like this =)... then add another 10 minutes to clean up the 75 lesser pirates spawned with the level 50 officer, lol
@lokian: check back to April 4th in comments here on this board... you should notice a comment about moving inter-system from at least one other person
@Athrang: think of the rare/elite/artifact versions... since the regular items are in the shops, there has to be a chance to drop a better version already, meaning these are probably better than another use of the same item... meaning, if you get a r/e/a version of an assault battery, the recharge rate does not increase, but since it's the recharge rate increse is the main stat of the %mods then that is what will increse in the r/e/a versions (same with the burn rate for engines)
@TinyPrints: why does everyone think this? it has a SLOW turning radius, do you really think that anything that naturally can carry 5500KG of cargo would turn as easily as something that carries only 400 KG of cargo? Space or not, that will take a lot of mass just to hold that much, let alone the amount of natural hull and shields it has. if you don't want to deal with something like that, switch to a different ship and add more cargo hulls
@shemkel: you want to add the worst possible thing EVER to this game? what are you thinking? are you the .0001% that enjoys doing escort missions? (even with good AI I have yet to find an escort mission that I enjoy.... if you do, go play a game called AMY, don't try and ruin this game with suggestions like that, pls.)
captianmurder, buy a afterburner at one of your stations.... then take off auto pilot, point out of your system and turn on the afterburner.... but make sure you keep switching between galaxy and close up to your ship so you can see where you're going
athang, this has been brought up, no need to get hostile over it, but you must remember, the last item in a section, is not always the strongest.... and then there is the rare/epic/artifact versions you must consider sthrength for as well
reposting this: ok, so yeah, if you have 2 cargo holds, the ship moves at a crawl, but if you have 3, it moves normally and the brakes are gone and keeps trying to bump into stuff(safelockx6 cargo holds is the reference i'm using) but if you have 4 or more it causes the -speed bug and makes it so you have a hard time using the auto-target feature on asteroids
please upvote this so people can see why their ship is bugging until it's fixed
@DJman you might need to refresh the page... if it's an old save, you might have saved in the middle of nowhere.... but if you start a new game it should fix it
@djman700 did you try to zoom in? do you have a display on the right side of your screen consisting of a mini-map and some tabs underneath it? if you do, try pressing one of them (like the button that says list stations when you hover the mouse over it) then try clicking one of the station buttons that pops up if you do

I want 13 artifact safelockX6 cargo holds on the MEGA Transport liner!! you know how much money i can make with a hold that big?! just gotta collect that much raw material....(the 14th slot would be for the laser miner of my choice, lol) I like this thinking.... very good =) what's that... 5500+13*(1300*1.39285714) cargo space....29039... wonder how long it would take to fill that... with 3 speed and almost 0 turning radius hmm.... but it;s a great haul! with dynex at $89.5 average cost (which you'll find a decent multiplier... usually 2.5x that's over 6 million credits right there..... *drools* can't wait....... lol
