ok, now that i think about it, i'm really starting to like that wall of air that put me from 84 to 0 in a matter of seconds... i think that's what stopped us from having this bug
ok, i started experiencing the -speed bug... probably bumped into an asteroid while i was away, since i went on auto.... if you hit the afterburner you start having your speed go in the correct direction (meaning it starts going back to 0 and then above it) turn on autopilot after you've reached a + speed, then turn on auto dock, save your game and quit and restart.... hope this helps (till the dev releases a fix for this in about 6 hours which is why i love this game)

yes, the protype 1 is the fastest, but the one that does the most "damage" is protype 3... either way, more than likely you'll be putting it on auto-gather and switching between pages while you use it, since even on "weaker"(meaning lower hp) asteroids it'll take about 2 minutes to gather it and on "stronger" asteroids (meaning about 600-700 hp) it'll take about 5 minutes to gather it so you'll still be switching between screens.... probably commenting here =)
oh and the "mega transport liner's" turn radius becomes a little better without an engine... although it's slow, so it becomes part of the click it and forget it part of the game
a note to all people out there... just because a ship is "last" on the list does not make it the best, it depends on what you do, i use the assault carrier for attacking even with the 5 new ships, but i use the *new* cargo transport in order to mine since i can set it to gather *EVERYTHING* and leave it in order to get the rock mining ach, it all depends on how you want to play, if you think you can go into battle with only 2 static items (probably a shield and a hull if you play like i do... like rolling up in a tank and just blasting everything around you with missles) then yes, the last ship will do good for you (sometimes) although maneuverability is a good factor as well, play and find yours, then complain about it after making progress in your game
ok, one thing, and it doesn't really matter since it's just kinda stupid, but...
I was in system 42, made my ship face system 34 and took off auto-pilot, put on max after-burner and let loose... well i arrived there and nothing was there. =( was kinda hoping there would be, but maybe that would take up to much memory? still, great game, just wondering if i was supposed to have something there or not
so.... this might be a stupid question but, with the settings you have for getting "rare items" it's 20% + 2% per level chance of getting items from the officers... so if you set up a 50 lvl map, killing the level 40 officer will be guaranteed of getting an item every time, correct?

Now, in order to live on the moon, you must make money, and fast by doing the only legal profitable job there is to do.... you must take your chances with the big black beyond, risking life and limb for one company, whom has rivals, attempting to steal your haul.... be an enforcer, a trader, or laborer, but any which way, you need money to support your family
man.... these are some mighty fine air-brakes these crafts have... i mean, coasting along at 64.n and all of a sudden, arrived at destination.... deploy air wall for 60-to-0 stop, like i hit a tree or something lol
crud, i found a bug
i have more than one save, since i wanted to just obliterate pirates left and right... so now i have jobs and areas spilling over from the original save into the new game, where the names of the stations and systems aren't even in the game i'm playing... so it's updating the first save, while doing nothing to the file i'm currently playing, weird, right?
you seem to accellerate just as fast if you have fuel, as when you have no fuel... this being said, would it be possible to use dual upgrades on certian items for the ship if you happen to fix the fuel problem? like using 2 capacitors or 2 fuel tanks
