Just got the impossible badge after about 2 weeks of playing. Exited on Floor 105 with 506k. Do the other 3 badges before doing this, so that you don't have any in-game achievement notices interrupting you. Full concentration helps. Turn the Music off so that its catchiness doesn't distract you. DO NOT TURN OFF the SFX--you NEED to hear those Pogo enemies coming. Proper use of items are PARAMOUNT; use items ONLY if needed or if you're about to collect another item. Take small breaks at specific intervals to calm your nerves, if needed [I breaked every 100k]. Do NOT try to outrun the screen--you never know what's up there, and it could end your streak faster than you can blink. Remember which White diamonds to avoid like the plague--some simply cannot be gotten without the time stop item. Most importantly, though, DON'T GET GREEDY. Plz + this.

There's 21 levels, and then a final level for which all 11 parts of your ship must be bought before you can access it [when you've bought the 215k upgrade, you have a complete ship]. You'll wanna prioritize upgrading the ship for this reason. However, immediately max out the Village Mayor when you find him, as he increases gold earned when matching gems. You're welcome.

The game seems to have all the greatest intentions at heart; no visible Energy System clogging a Campaign experience, and the game seems to try to be as beginner-friendly as possible, but, I hate games that do all the playing for me. Even Spellstone, the most P2W card game I've ever seen, lets you choose among 3 cards to put into every round. The fact the every single battle seems to be left completely up to chance with no input from me whatsoever make it feel like later victories will be based on my luck, not my skill. No game should be like that. Apologies, but, I can only give a 2/5.

Balls vs Zombies

No one else will say it, so, I have to; The overall outcome of any given game--completely independent of your skill level--is how many balls the game decides to give you before the blue zombies show up. I personally believe that one coin--doesn't even have to be a supercoin; just a coin-- should show up in every new line until your score reaches 20. At least then, it'll take a lot of the luck out of the equation, at that point; the red zombies REQUIRE you to rack up balls to take groups of them out, and it's hard to do that without a favorable start, especially since coins [especially SUPERcoins] show up LESS by the time the red zombies show up. Can only give a 2/5 for the time being, but if the game prepped you more for the onslaught of blues and reds to come later, I could easily see myself giving a 4.

Good puzzler, but, has a STEEP difficulty curve. If you like challenging puzzlers, you'll like this. 4/5.

This is the kind of game that NEEDS an option for keyboard controls. REQUIRES it, almost, just so that it's possible to make more subtle movements, like against that 1st boss in battle 5. Also, Bullet Hell game with upgrades. Hate 'em. With a passion. Just make a BH game with in-level powerups, BH developers. Much better game, that way. 2/5.

I'm so tired of Bullet Hell games like this. It's old. Why can't any of these BH game creators realize that maybe--just maybe--it might *actually* be possible to make a game that doesn't rely on having upgrades that make a game with an otherwise WTF-level difficulty curve seem beatable. I'm sick of being reminded of Tower Defense games [which I loathe with a passion] whenever I see that I REQUIRE upgrades to dodge onslaughts of 18 billion bullets flying at me. This is supposed to be a BH--shouldn't it play like one? WITHOUT upgrades? 2/5.

Didn't have as much fun with this as I'd like to. Reinforces WAY too much grinding. Should've had more levels with a difficulty curve that wasn't steeper than a sheer cliffside. 2/5; Grindy game is grindy.

I felt the exact same way playing this as I did the original LoZ; bored to tears, and wishing I was playing something else. Better to parody a more entertaining RPG, next time. 2/5 for the effort, though.

Too damn overcomplicated, really. Just reminds me of tower defenses with all the needless upgrading. Just look for "Solarmax 2" on Kong. Same type of game, but, much more enjoyable because of not having to worry about autodraining of units 'cause you forgot that this was a Tower Defense; there's enough TD games on Kong as it is. 2/5.

2 things all beginners should keep in mind. #1, there's 25 levels. The reason I mention that is because #2 is that you CAN rapid-fire; you DON'T have to wait for a shot to finish its carnage [or its whiffing] before you can fire again. That's EXTREMELY important to keep in mind during the last 4 levels, especially, where rapid-firing is borderline REQUIRED. Besides the game failing to mention this, it's a good game, overall. 4/5.

So, I decided to do some digging around to see if this game still being worked on, and I found a clear answer: https://twitter.com/IriySoft/status/781798240765214720 ...No. 2/5, anyway; you know your game went overboard with the difficulty when you literally have to drink a health potion EVERY TIME you encounter an enemy with noticeably stronger attack power than you have. Also, too many items that lower Attack Speed; this game demands enough luck as it is.

Just makes me wanna play Zombies Took My Daughter, again. Much less gindy. Not everything costs money in that game, nor do I need in-game money to access MANDATORY LEVELS; I should be saving that money for needed upgrades or to unlock OPTIONAL levels, not to progress further into the game. FAR too unbalanced for me to give anything more than a 2/5; grindy game is grindy.

I'm sorry. I played though 10 minutes of the game, and was enjoying myself up to the point where I saw that there was an energy system. No. Not again. I've played enough Card Hunter to know to forever stay permanently away from all games that have an Energy system--it's not needed to make a good game, nor is it needed at all. 2/5.

First to crack 25,000. I would say that more diversity would be needed. More squares that do different things [like a square that temporarily gives double points]. Actual music. Even for a game that seems to be made to BE minimalistic, it just seems that this is still an incomplete game that's missing things. 3/5.

From what I can see on some people's in-game profiles, RaceTime seems to have been a thing LONG before it came to Kong, which only makes me question why this game seems extremely unfinished; Why is there only one track you can ever play at a time? Why does the new car roulette make it possible to spend 100 coins on a car you already have? Why do ALL the tracks have 3 lanes [none of them can't have 2? or 4? Or 3's with 1 or 2 2-lane sections]? Why don't any of the tracks have track elements [boost pads, oil, mud, snow, water]? Why is there an EXP and Level system if they do nothing for you? It just seems TOO minimalistic, even for a game that seems to be made ot BE minimalistic. Too many things missing. Can only give a 3/5. Put more things in. Please.

Developer response from PeopleFun

The profiles that you are seeing are probably devs. The Kongregate was the first place that the game was published.

A complete rip from an equally crappy game called Puzzle and Dragons; that game had an energy bar, too, and I instaquit that just as quickly as I instaquit this. Any game with an energy bar that dictates when you can and can't play isn't worth it. 1/5. 0, if I could.

I was enjoying this game up riiiiight until I got into the thick of World 6, where the annoying color rules officially made the game much more complicated than it really needed to be; Worlds 3-5 were challenging while being enjoyable at the same time [especially worlds 4 and 5]. Can only give a 3/5.

One thing puzzles me. The game is top-notch and all [I gave it a 4/5; fluent battle system and awesome enemy diversity, as well as a REASONABLE difficulty curve, for a change--Training mode needs to be a little less OP, though], but there's something I gotta know--What's the name of the training medal that's the next step up from Platinum? I gotta know that one. :P

Developer response from SoulGame

I've called them Super Gold Medal, which makes not much sens, but you know, we do what we can :)
