As Michauello213 (the top comment) says, dashing up and right works, but up and left doesn't. If it were an issue of blocking when pushing more than three buttons, both would be blocked. I'd assume that a lot of people are having this issue since it's such a popular comment.

There are multiple hiccups like that, and it really does bug me.
Well, let me start by saying this isn't my kind of game. I simply don't like this genre.
It's way too slow, the characters look funny (but very well done, as in detail, realism etc.)
But seriously, why doesn't anybody wear pants? The girl is prancing around in her thong all day and the guy can't seem to hide his junk with that little piece of cloth.
Well done (for this type of game), I just have to give you a hard time about the wardrobe choice. 3/5
Wow, play button doesn't work for a LOT of people, and when you exit the credits it takes you to the options screen for some reason.
Simple mistakes, you should have bug tested it with a few more computers.
