I love the captain and shipmate's expressions. They're like =0 - The drawings are really cute; I especially like the style of the wolf, but sadly that's the best part of the "game." (using the term game because it's hardly one)
The music seems really upbeat, which makes me feel like I'm playing a shoot 'em up instead of a point and click game (not that I'm complaining, like). Creepy facial expressions, though.
Unfortunately I was unable to continue since the battles require a mouse to stand a chance of beating (I'm playing on a laptop), which is a shame because it does look really fun to play... My only complaint is rather nitpicky, but I would've preferred a melee weapon like a sword or a club during the battle and maybe have a turn based system, which were my initial thoughts when I clicked in the first place, but that's just my preference.
I would've preferred to control whether I should attack or not instead of it being automatic. It feels a lot more satisfying than just sitting back and waiting for the results to show.
That would make it a shooter or an action game, which it isn't. It is an RPG, you should build your character as good as you can. You can choose the opponent you believe you can win and in the same time to get the maximum possible reward. This is your "control" and we give it to you. Can you control it right?
When he whistles it sounds like Greensleeves, which is an old medieval period song, and when he hums it reminds me of the theme from Pirates of the Caribbean - He's a Pirate.
Guys. Use the left mouse button to mine, right mouse button to place a torch. I must add I played the game for less than a minute before I figured that out.
Anyone else found that glitch where if you run to the left as soon as you enter the door right after the area where the screen scrolls up (you move down) you end up outside the playable boundaries? Is this intentional? If not, it should be fixed because it's very difficult to find the way out unless you have another clone inside the playable area. I came across this by pure accident, but I was lucky enough to clone myself and become unstuck.
I've decided, I'm going to become a warrior. You get to retire at the early age of 19. Why didn't I think of this profession before? It seems so obvious! Great game, by the way. Not really a fan of idle games, but this has kept my interest for some odd reason.
Zargon, I noticed that, too. Some of the stages have more than six differences. Whether this is intentional to make the spotting easier or the creator forgot how erase some, I don't know.
I absolutely ADORE the Submachine series. I honestly believe it is THE greatest point and click series ever! Thank you, MateuszSkuntik, so much for the fantastic series! Love you!
I would personally prefer it to be turn based. But other than that it seems pretty decent enough. Unfortunately couldn't find my way out of the forest, so my progression was minimum. Looks promising, though.
