I like this game, but it has serious balance issues. Won't get into the problems that have already been stated, but here's a big one: Upgrades being tied to cube/building levels make the game stall at higher levels. I'm currently sitting at level 85 cube, and haven't had a miner efficiency or energy upgrade in about 12 hours. The one miner upgrade I do have available is completely out of reach at my current income. So now my only option is to overload, raise my mining and energy talent by maybe one level each, and then grind for another 12 hours to maybe reach level 86 cube. Maybe instead of expeditions giving a numerical metal reward, which becomes pointless after a few resets, instead have the reward be a metal production/energy multiplier. Also, what's the point of the Fast upgrading talent? Waste of valuable resources to save a few seconds leveling up?
after leveling up leadership, skill points do nothing until leadership is ready to be leveled up again. refreshing fixes this after level one, but not for subsequent leadership level ups.
i like where this game is going, but the progression curve is way to low. im on my third chest, and im still in an endless grind. challenge is cool, but there's nothing fun about this,
Same goes bloodgems and creature parts....it takes much longer to generate them in any meaningful amount than honor. Add that to the fact that honor takes so long to build up, it's taken all the idle out of the game. I would suggest leaving everything the way it is, but don't tie honor to prestige. Just let it build like it currently does, but with the ability to spend honor points anytime without prestiging. I do really like this game, and it's obvious that a lot of thought and effort has gone into it, but there's a fine line between challenging and tedious endless grind.
I actually do like the honor points, but the way it's implemented is brutal. Getting rid of crystal upgrades set everyone way back. My knight/lawyer/robot generation has gone to nothing. Combine that with having to prestige every 5-10 minutes to make honor worthwhile, it's made knights etc useless. It takes hours, if not days to build up a good amount of knights/lawyers/dinos/robots, not to mention castle raids and house battles. So regardless of if i choose to prestige frequently for honor, or let it idle to get everything else, it still makes for an unbalance frustrating game.
Since last update {ver 1.5}, my income/s no longer goes up. After prestige, I start with 1 farm, earning about 650 +45/s. After buying several thousand buildings, up to villages, my income/s remains 650 +45/s. Am I missing some big change in how income is now generated or is this a bug?
So here's a game that was mediocre and horribly unbalanced when it was originally posted. And here's a dev that communicates with players, takes suggestions, and keeps adding more content. So now we have a game that's gotten pretty good, and I think will get better as more is added. This is what devs should strive for, and how games on kong should develop and evolve...... Good job Rikunaceland.....I'm giving you 5 stars for your effort and because I think this game is going somewhere good.
