The 6th puzzle on expert has two clues that are wrong for the horizontal levels. I bashed my head against that puzzle for hours until I went to a walkthrough video and confirmed it. Two of the lines that start with 1 1 1 should actually start with 1 1 1 1. It was really infuriating to figure out that it wasn't me making a logic error but a bug in the game.
Love the new maps, not too keen on the grinding to get what used to be skills. I want to go back and replay maps with better skill points but the grinding to get to the awards is killing me. 5/5 for the actual maps, overall game 3/5. THe map editor is peachy keen though. Wish more people were uploading.
Actually you only need one fire warrior for the first level. You will leak one of the bosses once most likely but will level up one extra time that way.
I wish one of the sites with this game on it kept high scores per level. Seems pointless to have high scores when there's only two levels that will actually allow you to post a score.
If you do another Protector game (please please pretty please), I'd like to suggest that you find a way to make leaking bosses more damaging. One of my favorite strategies is to intentionally leak bosses once or twice each, so as to get more experience points to all of my units. On some levels this has not only allowed me to get units up to level 9 or 10, thus causing massive carnage, but has enabled me to finish a level designed for many units with only one or two. Perhaps a boss leak costing multiple lives instead of only one would help balance this out?
I hope you'll be bringing the locked levels over here. I play it both here and on the official site I just think there's great badge opportunities in having the full game playable here.
I second hte desire for a speed up button; the first few waves can be a little tedious.
1/5 Stars for the camera problem alone. The game has potential as a racing game; controls are exactly as squirrelly as you'd expect them to be for racing in sand. But two main camera issues (as well as wonky checkpoint problems) keep it from being a solid 3/5 or more. The camera should follow you around so that right and left actually mean something and the way the camera zooms in when you slow down (such as missing a checkpoint) is enough to get a person completely lost on the course if they are new to racing games.
Terrible game for those problems alone.
