Nice game. Good story, nice challenges, AND unlike most games you can start new challenges (eg get X distance) in the same run you completed one. The only flaws are not making clear when the story ends or where the next blockade is.
Anywhere there's a tree stump, it'll slowly grow back to a full tree over time. Buildings remove the stumps, however, so eventually there might no longer be any trees (such is progress). You'll still be able to buy apples at the market (when you get it).
The loading needs some improvements. I had to play it on the developer's site (froze on Kong) and it does not cache loading progress/previous loads.
Otherwise, not a bad game. 4/5
The entire game is on grid. The hitbox is only on the lower parts of the door. As the player can't access the upper parts unless he makes physical contact with that box. Which is why you can't get a reaction when you click on the upper part.
There is a MAG stat. Will there be Healers and wizards, or just Red mages when teams are available? The latter looks more amenable to solo levelling (like currently) and allows more varied skill setups.
What does it take to unlock the Lvl2 Training Hall? A dungeon with max stats bars? One with quality>500? Or explore time>30 min?
Right now it sound too vague (and fustrating).
Suggestion: randomly add elite bosses in medium/long dungeons (eg Greater/Arcane Mummy) with special rewards (recipes, bags of research points, stacks of cobalt-etc). Otherwise it is far simpler to constantly find short dungeons.
