I was thinking more like a Waylon Jennings type theme for this game, something along the lines of the "Dukes of Hazzard". But I'm digging the theme after listening to it all, but alas, I am not pressing reset and start again because that was just way to much excitement to experience again.
Last thing, find the code that shows the alert for "Pressure Too High" and change it from "level=depth lmit" to "level>=depth limit" so we'll get the "Pressure Too High" warning constantly after exceeding the depth limit instead of just on the level of the depth limit.
Awesome. Glean is one of my favorites here. I've completed it like 5 times by restarting a game it's so fun, even if the crafting problems. Very excited to see this. I'm adding my agreement that the "bug hunts" get really boring. Having the rare trophy items in simple recipes and sometimes in multiple numbers (like 3 chitin for an IC engine) means you're going to have to find these rare items quite often. If they were as rare requirements as they are to find it'd be more balanced. I think it would be cool introduce a "molecular recombinator" (glean 1 fun!) that might make other items. For instance, say once you've found "vulcanized rubber band" you use use other, less rare items, to make vulcanized rubber instead of requiring viscera. Until you build the recombinator you don't get this ability, and the recombinator could be somewhere in the tech tree.

I played until I got to the last level then at some point every time I hit space I saw the cloud of smoke but kept right on falling unable to complete the game :(
One of the best here. Great balance. Random maps, have played through three times already. You have to change strategies. Premium is a tip not a required. Awesome job.
Can't imagine hang in there long enough to get 10 achievements. Not my cup of tea. Or anything I'd want to drink for that matter. I bet action junkies love this.
I guess I just randomly picked the wrong awards because they are totally worthless. This game has a lot of "stuff happens" in it. You get better, you do well and you die because "stuff happens". As a player of angband for MANY MANY years I'm okay with "stuff happens". But when the awards you get don't help at all "stuff happens" to often. I'm tired of dying because as I approach a meltie something else hits it and splatters me. Ugh.....
Awesome game. Very very fun. Game design rule: Never make a layer craft more than 3 deep. Many of the final items are 5 or six deep. Maybe have on of the engineering boxes be a "Molecular Combiner" that is able to auto-convert all the base materials (lave, Fe, Au) between the various sizes. This would move the crafting back to 4 deep. Then this would get six stars (we'd make Kongregate add one for just this game).
