If you listen carefully, the bald running zombies fart when they die. Love it.
Also, I keep thinking that the white spitting zombies are Islamic zombies... Three cheers for multicultural undead!
Excellent mood. On suggestion, it would be extremely helpful to only start the attacking action once the zoom-in-panning-for-the-next-level is finished. If you really want to make this a game that is playable for hours if not days, I would recommend speeding up the walking a little and allow the player to be led by a continuous left-click-hold instead of separate clicks for each movement. I can only assume that the "contact bridge" and "turn on generators" will have some sort of purpose in future iterations of the game, as well as different events that push the story along (apart from the interesting but somewhat flat journal entries). The last thing that I would recommend would be some sort of end point. After awhile, I got sort of tired doing the same thing over and over again without a feeling that there was an end to the game. Great job though! Nicely done.
Simplicity is king! The game and graphics are really great because they are just that - clean and simple! As some others have mentioned though, it would be great to have treasures to collect. Another possibility would be to have an optional "gather" button, where all of the characters' movement to a certain point is done automatically. Just one click, and they all go to that point. That way, you keep the emphasis on the fighting instead of the boring moving. It's also great that the characters seem to have humorous, irreverant personalities. Great work! I'm looking forward to number 2!
What's so great about this game is that you can control how fast you want to play. You can play quickly like tetris, or think out every move 4-5 steps ahead to get massive combos. One strategy I use is to keep the higher tier pieces on the left and keep the leftmost columns as open as possible so that when you get higher up, you still have space to combine your highest pieces. Awesome game!
Seems like the "Kill an Enemy with every weapon" isn't quite working for me and it's the only one left that I need... do you need to kill an enemy with every weapon in a single level? If so, I have tried that too, but perhaps some did not count, such as shooting an enemy off the screen with a nuke. Does that count as a nuke kill, or simply an off-the-screen kill?
