Bought a starter pack in the shop and later decided I wanted to start over after getting stuck at the dim cave. I thought the starter pack would carry over to the new save but I guess not. ):

How do I ascend? Once I get to the ascension screen it says pick a skill but it wont let me. I pressed every button and nothing happened.
