I don't quite like the scopes. I'd rather be able to zoom in with right click. I also agree on the search survivors. Otherwise, great game with great graphics
You're supposed to heal as enter/leave a town. If you're not healing, just refresh the game. Don't worry if you didn't save, it saves as you enter a town.
Also, the best way to start is to look at the travel map, look at the towns that are only 1 day away, and buy something cheap like coal before leaving. Go to the town that offers the most money for that item. (I buy as much coal as possible, go to a town right next to me, sell for +20 gold per coal)

Try to get the MS Assault Rifle early in the game. Because of the spread and the fast reload, it makes killing airborne and regular enemies easy, after you get the upgrades.
During the fight during Iblis, you don't get hit once. You get hit by one of those blue missles, and then you get hit by 2 more, then you get hit by lasers. I recommend you max out your evasion, health, and shields.
