WTF? The "shoot in all directions" item has them slowly spin like a dying dreidel. It renders a troop useless. I really should have listened to the comments and not bothered with this.
Interesting enough narrative and nice game mechanic. This makes a very pleasant change from some of the pointless, noisy platformers uploaded to Kong on a daily basis. I've enjoyed using my word-recognition and puzzle-solving skills here. Good one!
My 7 yo son wants to be a game designer and has some ideas he wants to put into game form. This tute series will help me help him take his first steps. Thanks very much! My Fortran and Cobol coding skills aren't that much use in game construction. :)
You're welcome :). Don't count out your other programming knowledge though. Use it to understand the logic behind the blocks in Stencyl. That's what I did ;).
Jeez, it's been a while since I played Doom. This isn't as good, but then, it's a free flash game and you're not ID Software. Nice atmosphere, great effort. This could have used a bit more variety, but good job.
Interesting mechanic. I think the advantages of just pointing to initiate an action outweigh the disadvantages - eg, not having mouseover information pop up. Nice game.
Nice crisp graphics, decent gameplay. I always play these games muted as I like to listen to my own music - it sounds like I've dodged a bullet here. :)
I can't tell if the annoying parts of this game are bugs or intentional- it's called glitchball, after all - but I found this frustrating and difficult to play.
Perhaps a list of what the powerups do and some other instructions would ameliorate this.
Thanks! I definitely was trying to make something out-of-the-norm, so I'm glad that you enjoyed this!
