I'm glad to see utilization of the accelerometer, but it seems the game coasts (literally) on this advantage. The lack of sensitivity is a detractor, as can be the unabashed simplicity (great as a mindless distractor, not so much for ...anything else).
Great as an on-the-go pick-me-up (hyphen-hyphen-hyphen). I almost gave up on 9 and 10!
It *is* reminiscent of Loops of Zen, another great game, although this has a leg up in portability.
I had to add:
1. I can't stop giggling at the usage of "taint," especially "remove taint." PARTICULARLY when an old, scholarly-looking dude's picture accompanies the words. (...)
2. I've noticed that, often, summons will deal decreased or even no damage after an attack, even when the target has no defense. I've seen two shoggoths shooting blanks (-0, -0, -0, -0...) back-to-back. Am I missing something, or is this an error?
A classic (seriously, how long ago did I first play this?) that doesn't translate very well to mobile: Sometimes, I lose a life because I couldn't see a ball covered by my finger/nail (I have long nails. Like, almost obscenely long). Also a bit glitchy (ball keeps growing even after I lift my finger). I got bored on level 16.
Although colorful and basic, it's somehow elegant. The flow of the particles is hypnotic.
Reminds me of atomic structure (valence electrons and all that), which is awesome in itself :D
Great game, except for what seem to be coding errors on level 14 (bot and fan move of own volition and cannot be placed in correct spots, ball knocks out target) that make it seem impossible.
