It seems like speed upgrades (if you can call them that) just make the ball harder to control. That's really bad. :/ I think the idea of a boss is really novel, though; I like that. 3/5.
Funny, I was thinking of "Kiwi!" when I played this :) Anyway, this game seems more about upgrades than actual skill (i.e., "steering" the penguin, which I don't understand at all).
Pacman is better, lols. My fully upgraded ship looks like a lobster. ^_^
