A couple suggestions for the sequel: Option to turn your level back down for a challenge run, with bonus points/multiplier for it. Have XP scale to multiplier so that surviving longer gives more (and the level curve would be balanced accordingly). Nerf Double Shield by giving the player just one at a time, awarding the second when you pick up a second shield powerup while already equipped with one.
Starting a new game after dying/winning is bugged. You keep your current weapon, but it isn't marked as bought so you'll lose it if you switch. And every skill you have is displayed as being bought, but they don't actually work so you're stuck unable to buy those skills.
The full version works on Linux via Wine, I was told.
