45 should be shrunk a little bit and 65 should be slowed down. Also that laser in the middle of the screen, I forgot what level it appears on, needs to not make the entire screen darken.
Great stuff though.
I can't help but laugh at all the people complaining at how hard it is. I beat it on my first try with 19 lives left, then cleared it again with 50 left. Remember kids, there's no timer, so be patient and wait for the right opportunity to drop a guy safely. Timing timing timing.
'Course, I love ultra-sadistic games like this where there's traps everywhere. This game reminds me of I Wanna Be The Guy.
Just for shits and giggles, I went into practice mode against a horror, and found out that you really can't do shit to kill one of these guys if it gets to the center of the screen. You'll run from it in circles, and it'll just fire teeth without ever using that move that makes him vulnerable because you can't put enough distance between the two of you.
Also, the duration of a void eater's laser and the speed at which it sucks you in is just high enough to be nigh unavoidable. You might want to rebalance some numbers a bit.
Is it even possible to get the purple guys off of you once they've stuck to you? It seems like once I've got one, they get harder and harder to evade until I'm screwed.
Gah. It seems that if too many purple guys stick to you, they'll run just slightly faster than you, and you can't kill them. You'll get smothered completely, lose the ability to move or swing, and there's no way to evade this no matter what I do.
The fact that you can have all of the population infected everywhere but one region and have every single symptom disabled so that your disease is unnoticeable and STILL have Madascar shut down everything and thus be 100% unreachable is ridiculous. How are you supposed to stop that from happening? Going for so long only to be screwed by luck is not fun.
Is it at all possible to reach a region once its airports, shipyards, and borders are all closed? It seems like that shouldn't forever lock you out of reaching the area all the way to 0%. Perhaps some people cross the closed borders illegally, or sail on a small boat without the shipyards. Plus, shouldn't borders and such reopen if you manage to reduce visibility and lay low, making people think you're no longer a threat?
There's no mute button. Also, the age old frustration of being in the middle of a long combo that would level you up - but blowing up before landing still hasn't been corrected.
After successfully reaching space, you should be able to keep playing more days, so you can see how high you can go with full upgrade or how much cash you can get in a single day, without having the game just end as soon as you launch high enough.
