I'd love some more information on the lore of the monsters and what the different moon phases mean.
This game is SO HARD but I love it, there are new things I discover every time I play.
I was just digested by a Juiblex? I would love to know more about whatever the heck that was, that was crazy.
If I refuse the wizard twice in a row, the advisor asks if I want to banish him. But I've refused the vampire every single time and no one ever asks if I'd like him to go away. Which I would. Fool me twice, vampire crystal....
The riding animation is seriously annoying. If you lose a battle, it's a waste of time to watch the little knight on the horse ride all the way back to the previous location, only to click and go back. Either have the knight already start out at the previous location so you only have to watch him ride one way, or just forgo the riding animation altogether and have an option to replay a match right on the last screen.
i'll see if i can find an easy way for you to skip the animations, but i might need a day or to to fix it :)
[UPDATE] you can now skip animations by pressing either space, Ctrl or Esc. double clicking the map should also work.
Very slow.... and I really disliked the spinning dice "i wonder what attack will be used" approach. It's new, I'll give you that, but it kind of removes the point of the player if things are being selected at random anyway.
Definitely love the challenge with this game. It's not one of those that playing through once ruins subsequent attempts: the difficulty level remains, and that's really fantastic. Lots of replay value.
I'm peeved that you can't hire any programmers with any actual experience beforehand. It would be nice to select already specialized people. Furthermore, it's irritating and inaccurate that once a worker is given a "specialty," all points they may have racked up in any other area should vanish completely, with no opportunity to train in anything else. And it's just bullsh!t that all the workers are men.
The repetitive sounds of the pig and the worm on the upgrade screens and the cart wheels are enough to drive you insane. They're so grating.I enjoy the game except for all the awful animal banter sounds.
The controls get sticky at some points, mostly jumping and shooting, but also the car isn't really as fun or easy of a game play device as I think it's intended to be. Too easy to miss chests and coins and die from wrong turns. I still really love this game. It's just challenging enough to be interesting but simple enough to be a lot of fun. Of course I would love for it to be longer but I really enjoy what I have.
Level 18 is the highest I've ever gotten; the specific nature of how you need to set up the ring makes it very challenging, nearly impossible. I wish that the extra deals actually refilled your drawing pile, rather than giving you a few at a time and then still being out of deals. Feels very wasteful and often is tremendously unhelpful.
I find the controls awkward. Even when my people are selected, if they happen to have their back turned, they will be eaten by zombies even if they have weapons and ammo. I find the fire extinguishers completely useless and a hindrance; if someone picks one up, it's difficult to make them drop it for another weapon. I would have appreciated a menu where weapons could be selected, and medkits/anti-zombie things could be distributed as needed, as opposed to the system of "whoever touches it first."
