A solid game. A few suggestions for making it great:
-Penalize the player for dying, such as halving the bits or at least not allowing the player to collect bits. Otherwise an easy strategy to win is to activate zero-writes and die all day.
-Having three zero writes is a bit too powerful. Decrease the max number of zero writes to 1 or 2 at most and/or do not auto-collect the bits.
-A bug forced my player to one direction until I hit the direction again. I'm guessing you know about this by now.
Loved the dialog, humor, and emotion to the story. Would like to see what you can create next.
Interesting concept, clearly a lot of work went into it, but the game basically ends when Madagascar closes down, which is most of the time no matter how much skill goes into the game. While that is true, it's a poor game. I hope the creators fix that.
Great game, though noticed that when I use the 2 hotkey to use the cage (as a pacifist), I can't use the injection skill anymore. Annoying bug. Still, great game.
This game grew on me. I finally figured out some strategies:
-Go for completion the targets on each new object. The 50, 100, 150 bonuses add up.
-Use the multi-colored balls when there are lots of targets on an object. Just use one for each fling so you have five multi-colored balls to use.
Have fun!
Beautiful graphics but three core issues:
1. Main one is simply too much luck when completing the last tile. Need more skill here. The game would be great if you could see all tiles ahead of time.
2. The powerups are too confusing. Kongregate and casual games are best when simple. Cater to the beginner, not the expert.
3. Needs a save. I read the author's concerns about saves and they sound convoluted. Bottom line is that it sucks to spend 10 minutes on a game and lose everything due to luck.
Despite these, the game has a lot of promise and I do look forward to seeing it improved!
