The game has promise.
Pro: a lot of potential. Tons of options for future customization. Interesting concept. Nice combination of real time and strategy.
Con: Hard to control squad, especially when Zeds are crawling all over.
Punishing difficulty. Healing is a gyp.
Recommend:
a super wimpy option for people like me. Auto heal.
Pause button to allow allocation of all 4 members instead of manually trying to select and deselect members.
This is pointlessly bad. What's the point of making a game this ugly, annoying, hard to play, aaargh!?
Moreover, why Kong? Why choose this game? How do you select your dailies? Is there some hidden pay per promotion thing that you do for your developers?
With a little hard work, better graphics, less saccharine music, and better buttons this game would be okay *with the exact same coding*.
It's pretty interesting how each ship has a very different playstyle:
Odin is pretty balanced. Pretty standard skills
Freja should be called berserker. Short ranged, wide spread.
The third ship is a long distance fighter. Probably the toughest due to it's skillset.
This is a really good game!
Initially, I was thrown off by the cutesy graphics. But the humor and the tactical options won me over. It's also nice not to have annoyances like mousing over coins and constant clicking.
the constant clicking, i surely learned from my previous game, Forbidden Arms. lol. it even had badges for that. Thank you for playing and giving Witch Hunt a chance!
I very rarely give a 5 star review.
This game is very well done. The dialogue is well written. The game is challenging without being abusive. The characters are interesting.
Wow. This was pretty bad.
The lag is literally killing my computer. I mean the concept is fine. HTe graphics look alright, but why in blazes is it causing my computer to lag so horribly?
This isn't high art. BTW, My computer took 10 minutes to type this up thanks to the bloody lag.
Good game....except when the game stops responding! I can't change my survivor during the most important part...leading to most o my servers getting injured
Normally, I don't like these types of games, but this one is different. With the music and the beautiful artwork, it reminds me of a strong shot of nitrous oxide in a good way.
This is a pretty bad game. I'd recommend testing this out a *lot* more before releasing it.
The good:
I like bag pipes. The intro page looks nice.
The bad:
No instructions. No real way to control things. No explanation of units. Bribing for stars?! Music gets repetitive real fast. The survival mode is sort of pointless--is this a demo for seeing my units slaughtered?
Good intro. Decent concept. Bad implementation
On max brightness, I have a hard time seeing anything. A black cursor on a black background with black zombies makes for an incredibly hard time to aim.
Also, the loading is so slow that it's impossible to shoot down zombies fast enough (even if they move slowly).
This game shows promise, but needs major gameplay issues to be reworked.
