Eep, that is one of those little "whoops" that happened when I tuned the game to be shorter. A few costs go whacked out and it's on me. The overall game length is what I wanted but there are those strange costs. DANG IT! That said, thanks for the comment and the play! Best, -Tim
I love it but it feels so SLOW! It's not fun to spend 30 seconds shooting each troll. I stopped at world 6 out of frustration but you still get 4/5. I'd also like to see the cooldowns (and damage, for balance) of spells reduced so there's more to do.
PLEASE do a simple patch on this game instead of saving every suggestion for the sequel.
As others have said, there needs to be a faster way to buy weapons and garnet. At this point I passively generate scrap faster than I can buy garnet. I've gone through the weapon cycle probably 8 times and I assure you I've seen all your clever weapon names.
Just make the buttons scale with you. "Spend 10% of your scrap on Garnets." Then even if I'm making 10^100 scrap/s it will still work.
The best puzzle game I've seen in a long time, 5/5. It's a shame it's so short; make a sequel with more levels (maybe tetrahedrons?) and you've got another hit game.
Another cell game but at least excellently done. The upgrades and racial abilities are nice but there needs to be more of a hook, something to really stand apart. Active powers maybe? Temporary shield, defense boost for 5 seconds, that sort of thing.
The upgrade cost balance worked well for me. I got the final upgrade just before the last level (although I was concerned it wasn't the last) and I'd had to replay a few levels.
Truly an amazing game, clever and unique. 5/5 but occasionally it's frustrating to not have checkpoints when the first part of a level is hard, you finally pass it, then screw up later and have to spend another 20 deaths doing it again.
