Cool game. But the width of the screen compared to the width of the monkey and other objects makes it so difficult to attempt any kind of dodging, not to mention the monkey's response time is so slow that attempting to move doesn't really matter. If there was any kind of mechanic to offset that (zooming out as the monkey goes faster would be awesome) it'd be great.
Got to the moon in 50 days, but only by upgrading all of the flight stuff and letting the launcher and luck do the work.
So, is it just me or when I upgrade weapons, armor, speed, anything, do the enemies all get the opposite upgrades? I notice that, no matter what, it always takes 6-10 cannonballs to sink an average enemy. I guess on the upside, the special weapons do less damage than the cannon and use the same cooldown as the cannon. Yeah, that's an upside.
Nice 8bit Orpheus. A neat twist would be if looking back turned you to salt (invulnerable). Sort of like the bear costume in Mario 3, I guess. But that was always my favorite power-up.
The only possible improvement: Change where the "quit" button is. My game logic insists that ought to be Resume, resulting in several near-winning games ending suddenly :P
I don't want to give this game a low rating just because it's hard, so I'll mask it by suggesting the cannon not be so close. Arcs need to be aimed almost straight up but with very little power. 3/5
Yes, this is a magnet simulator. It'd be a great new version of Gravitee or any of those sling games if you put in some goals, maybe some guides to show magnet strength?
I am really confused. Do attack/armor values have no bearing on the game? It seems like it's all up to die rolls. My 2/1 rat just pwned a 6/5 robot. This game could have been good if it made sense.
Also, this game doesn't play exactly like MtG (most card games play very similar, anyway). It's got enough differences to make tactics more interesting. 5/5
