Finished the game, and I'll say it is too fast with the clicking, which takes away from strategy and planning. Try to make the game slower so player can have a bit of time to think strategies instead of rushing from cell to cell and furiously clicking to send out its units.
When in Deck Builder and a character card has been added and has an item, add a mouseover text description box of the item's ability when cursor is over icon of the item. Beginner players do not remember what item's abilities are based on pictures, and when building a 5 card deck I find myself taking the item out of the character card to be able to read what it did.
Please make the Deck Builder left-right scroll bar button twice larger. It is now so small that its hard to target it with mouse, and you have the empty space there to make it a lot bigger. The slider is used a lot when making a deck.
Suggestion to coder: When in mode of placing a unit, show a number that indicated how many road squares the unit would cover in that position. I find myself counting and calculating that coverage all the time to find the optimal place.
In the window after a battle, it would be nice if the award badges had mouse over text descriptions. A first time player does not recognize the badges.
I lost my will to play the game 2/3 through the game, when I noticed that I had reached capped level/upgrade points. Why not allow more levels and points, but just make it harder to reach them?
