This game is amazing - challenging and fun platformer with some unique actions/abilities - difficult, but not impossible, and plenty of save points, so when you finally get a sequence right, you have the relief of saving your game!
A few things could be improved: 1. if you can move multiple squares in a single turn, why do I have to click on each square along the way? Should just click the final square and auto-walk to it. Otherwise, just make it one square per move, so then it requires strategy to move efficiently into fighting range. 2. It should remember sword selection, not make you choose it again before each level. 3. You have to click the enemy to attack, but then the fight buttons are in the middle of the screen - again, if it could remember your selection so you can repeat quicker (attack again) this would improve the gameplay.
So I'm really late to this party, but would like to suggest that endings indicate that there are more to find (ending x of y). Except for pathabeo's comment I would have missed most of this game and rated pretty poorly...
Ok - i was wrong - 'chicken' is not the most awesomely funny thing ... 'inferno flaming chicken' is the most awesomely funny thing! Also, adding a level map to know where the exit is would be nice. **last comment - I promise!**
Also, adding a label when hovering over pillars/shrines to indicate what effect it has. And, make the chicken spell available earlier in the skill tree - it made me change my rating from 4star to 5star - so awesomely
funny!
Having a serious problem with the 'chicken' spell! The chickens are sooooo cute - I don't want to kill them - I want to take them home and cuddle them!
Aside from this, nice game - would be better if items auto-collected (or if this was an upgrade - having to click chest/barrel, then the item, every time is a bit redundant, given how much room there is in the inventory, and the option to sell during mission. I agree that an 'autosell' button for basic items would also be an improvement.
I really love that there are two parts - the 'power up' path initially, and then the 'go directly to home, do not pass go, do not collect...' path. And the music is fabulous enough that I was more than happy to play through to get the second ending. More coming for other songs?? Yes?? Good!
While I'm enjoying the game, including WASD as well as arrow controls would be soooo helpful for all of us right-handed mousers. **Can't save future, arrow keys too far away!!! NOOOO!**
Yes, I just saw that bug, the levels 6 and after are affected i will upload a fix. Pretty easy fix tho
