I've been playing the stand-alone version for a while now (this one on Kongregate won't load for me) and I enjoy it, but I've been noticing that fewer people are playing the daily and I think I might know why: the modifier can be VERY onerous. Today's character was the Huntress (one I typically don't enjoy playing) and the modifier was "All items gain frozen 3 each round". I didn't bother playing it. That's just a recipe for irritation. A modifier that nerfs occasionally I could see, but it's nearly always and it turns an already challenging game into a slog. My 2 cents.
For more than a month now, the loading bar only partially fills before it gets stuck. I was really enjoying the game and would like to play again. Is there a fix for this, other than deleting all my cookies (and potentially losing saved progress in other games)?
