Great game, but sadly it was shortly lived - no more than 2 hours :(
I would suggest you put in some more weight to dieing, cus now you can basically die all you want with no penalty and you still get the exp. It would be better if you added some checkpoints (like after every dungeon) and if you die you go back to your previous checkpoint and your previous state (no extra exp or items). It would make the game more challenging, but keep it enjoyable. There are also ways to make the game winnable by dieing and grinding a lot, but also rewarding the player for going trough it without deaths- take for example "Magirune".
Just to clarify, I am not telling you what to do as a developer, just giving feedback. Otherwise loved the game, solid 5 stars.
GIJohnny do you take into account the tons of EXP you get from bonus dungeons? Additionally you find skill trainers, merchants and enchanting tables a lot more frecuently then you usually would, added that the gold you get from there is also pretty reasonable, allowing you to buy what you need from the merchants, or dump it all into skill trainers making yourself OP AF!
btw Awesome game: Interesting concept, great gameplay, cool story, amazing music and actually more balanced than the first Enchanted cave game, even though the ice biome was mostly free. The last jungle biome was actually still pretty challenging and the final boss pulled up a good fight, while in the first game by the time I reached the final boss I was so OP, that I took him out with like 10 hits without giving him a chance to do anything to me. So yea 10/10, 5 stars, loved it!
Beat the game in one go mates! No saves, no resets... Took me about 3 hours, added that half the time was spent in the 0-30 levels min-maxing everything I can and calculating my chances before fights XD
One tip: max the attack/defense/crit/xp bonus part of your ability tree first- it helps A LOT
