I really have a problem with how bad your teammates are in the alien campaign. Why do games have to make a game harder just by making your teammates worse? Are there other ways to do it?
Another problem as difficulty increases. While it is expected for time to read receivers while being in the pocket as it gets more difficult, it becomes impossible. There is a D-Linemen in your face almost as soon as you snap the ball, on almost every passing play.
Another big problem. Can't call a time out when a play is already called, even if you haven't already called a timeout. So if you accidentally called field goal in your own end zone, Congratulations! Don't use those timeouts, the opponent gets the ball on your own 1 yard line! I just blew a game on this.
At a challenging level, it doesn't matter if you play zone or man, and even if you have multiple players fully blanketing a receiver, the opponent will make the catch.
Expanding upon this problem, when you get to All-Pro difficulty, you can't do anything, no matter what your call, the opponent knows how to get around it.
An example of this problem, is that on easy, I can through a 50/50 ball no sweat, it will never get picked. They will always get picked on pro, but my opponent can complete a pass to a dude blanketed by five people.
So this is the best football game I've played besides Madden, but there is one SERIOUS flaw. When the difficultly goes up, to make the game more difficult, your team's players just get worse, especially linemen, to the point that all your doing is running for your life as a quarterback.
