Are you killing the mobs with click damage or with your Champions? If it's with click damage and then you come up to an armored boss, the clicks will only attack a boss once every 5 seconds, so you'll need your Champions to be strong enough to hit or ultimate to take out the boss's armor chunks.
This game is awesome. Too bad it's so short. Try to do additional levels. Maybe even introduce some achievements. The music is great, graphics are polished, yet simple. All in all, a great game! :)
