@kitsuke77 -- It's on purpose. You have to win a certain amount of games against those locked out players, then they turn on and you can start playing with their packs. Win a bunch of games with each of the pre-made packs there (crystal terror, assault, etc.) and you will find it easier to open up new races.
@Randomstuff How can we see what our base makes?
It's sort of subtle, but there's a little button that pops out a list of your base's entire production by energy type. It's in the lower right above the resource slots.
3 equidistant bouncers with buzzsaws above them = 7,777 hit combo = $125,000
I couldn't bear to wait 5 minutes to do it again, so I think I'm done. haha
It sort of saddens me that game narrative is now INSPIRED by other game narrative.
You know, this is great, but read some books and watch some foreign films or something, you know?
Fallout isn't the only source of inspiration.
This is awful. This is essentially the first in many graphic design school/advertising corporate shit games that rip off amateur success games.
Vote this game down. It's garbage. Support your local kid game designer.
A very weird, unique game. I was perplexed at first but found that there is actual strategy involved. A slightly higher learning curve then it looks, but if you stick with it a bit you'll have fun.
I loved playing Car Wars back in the 90s, an old Steve Jackson table top, but man this does not capture the fun of that in any way. So much work was put into such a dreary interface.
Could be so much better! A sequel with perhaps an overhead few (like the SJ version) would be an improvement.
Great game. Just a lot of fun, and a challenge. I did have to search for a hint for the doppelganger level, but even then, I had a hard time figuring out exactly what it meant. Took me a lot of tries, and the ending effect is great. Make more games please!
I got through this game without dying on my first try, so obviously it is not the most challenging. However, it's probably meant for little kids so that's not really worth commenting on I guess.
The physics in this game make no sense. I seem to randomly explode sometimes. I'll do some damage to another car and get points, then I'll be driving along and then explode without touching. The concept is great though, and if I had more time I'd keep messing around with it.
Absolutely love this series, even though I was never a FF fan, but the parodies ring true for us PC gamers from old times too since we had Ultima. It's just really enjoyable and well designed on many levels. I can't seem to get the skip fight feature to work though. All I do is hit Z when a blue conflict bubble pops up right? It doesn't seem to work. Other than that, amazing friggin game.
