Know what's boring? MMRPGs that are all about grinding stats. Then, after you've put enough energy leveling up a few and have a mild sense of accomplishment, meeting other players who are literally THOUSANDS of times more experienced than you with stats in the 1000's.
I'm not whining, many people enjoy this kind of game. I just find it uninspired, boring, and similar to everything else.
I'd be interested in the variations. I started as a "girl" and did things that the voice told me, then I stopped as they became irrational, and things got more colorful. I didn't turn into a man though. I seemed to lose all gender connotations.
Just talked to a guy yesterday after he picked me up from work. He said this is one of the best tower defense games he's ever played... Being a closet nerd, it's the first thing I load up after I wake up from a hang over. :)
Are the floor pushy upper things supposed to stop working? My guy got all beat up and walked all the way across one without it pushing him to the ceiling.
One of the best flash games I've ever played, maybe top 20 (flash trek is pretty amazing too if you like this sort of thing). Very good writing, suspenseful, and that's rare! The recycling thing (the space shooter equivalent of Ye Olde Super Shoppe) is sort of tedious after a while. Instead of randomly spewing out an item it would be more interesting if what you recycled had some bearing on the item you were getting back from the recycler.
I generally don't go for puzzle games, but this is extremely challenging. If you are having trouble sleeping and need to take some wind out of your brain, this is the game.
Protip:
Don't make the first lesson in a tutorial "how to archive events." I mean... are you kidding me? Are you crazy?
I quit after this, partly because the archive option wasn't even an option.
