Was actually wanting to play this when to my surprise I saw there was a new html5 version!
Immediately I noticed a lot of the art seems to be scaled-up now and looks worse than it used to.
The loading between screens seems very long. I don't know if I have ever had to wait for a webgame to load after it already loaded initially, and having to wait several seconds between each screen change is very annoying.
Previously you only got the benefits of a building by completely unlocking it, now you get partial benefits by having it partially unlocked, which is nice.
Mana pools are completely removed ??
There seems to be a new resource called skulls which I assume you could buy with real money in the mobile version, and can be used to do things like restore your mana, which is odd considering the removal of mana pools.
Great game, only major complaint I have is that the minus (-) button appears next to every resource even when there are 0 units allocated there.
And some comments for those that don't know:
The battle sequences are predetermined before it actually shows it. Planes blowing up after the battle is seemingly over is just a minor glitch, but the end result is what is supposed to happen, that plane was supposed to go down.
Second, you don't have to click over and over to add and subtract, holding down the mouse button on them works too.
t button to rotate doesnt work, units will freeze if you put down enough caltrops making the level impossible, in endless mode i got about 50 cannons and the game bugged out, everything stopped moving but animations kept going
ahh everyone started rioting when only 2 states were infected got close to winning by extermination till everyone went stupid and paniced
i guess military support isnt to stop people from going apeshit for no reason instead of not losing money to rioting
Mana Pool is now a building that you can seize.
