Bythe time I gathered everything necessary to finish the game, I became level 76 - more than twice as high as the gold medal! I think this illustrates well that there is too much wandering and searching for things in the game.

Slow. I mean... there is only one thing I can do. Nothing wrong with that, but waiting ten or twenty seconds before it makes sense to do something is... slow. Also, having some kind of control over events which I encounter would make the game less luck dependant - and luck dependance usually means frustration after a while.

Seriously... having the evolving character doesn't make the game to be RPG. This is no RPG, this is grindfest! It gets repetitive even before the end of the first island. I proceeded in the game to read all the Swarzeneggerish quotes from the hero, not because I liked it.

This game would be less luck and more fun if the player saw more ahead. Perhaps it's a feature to make the game more reflex-intensive, but I still think this is a bit overstressed. You know this feeling when you see your car landing on the blue jump pad just when a red pad appears... and the feeling when you know you can't do anything about that? It is sooo frustrating to see this four times per song! :(

I would definitely want to see higher. One possibility is to make hints where the spikes will be by, say, batteries in the wall one screen before the spike. Or you may make a minimap or so. There is plenty of space on sides for any kind of hints. When I gather speed by rapid jumping, I may jump so high, that I can not even see the place where I will land next! :-o
