Great game, but too short. Even though playing it over four times on increasing difficulty is interesting, it lacks the feeling of getting somewhere. It definitely deserves a campaign-like sequel!
I missed the rotation of blocks all the time. It would be so much easier, then! After my mind became accomodated to no-rotation world, the game was great.
Just give some more useful hint to level 14. It seems more hardcore than most of hardcore levels to me... and the only hint you get is that obvious thing.
The game stopped to be fun after level 30 - there are so many monsters... and they make so long combos... and that gives you so much XP... and you level up, getting another hundreds of hitpoints even before you lost hitpoints from the last level gained! I couldn't die even if I tried to! :-D
Great game, except the third golem, which is quite disgusting. Imagine what the hero did - travelling backwards through the alimentary tract of an oversized flying hippocampus!
I was poisoned at the end of Chapter II. Now (three years later) at the beginning of Chapter III, I am still poisoned.
Seriously, how long does the poison last?
Yes, it reminds me of Heroes III. Even the interface is similar! But HoG has a lot better quest system. And massive multiplayer. And, sadly, overloaded servers. :(
Impossible hint:
Write down the one-shoot spots using stars at the background for reference. Halfway to badge so far and it almost always works.
(keep alive if found helpful)
5/5 for the addictiveness.
The graphic is dull, the gameplay is repetitive, the story is absolutely missing, but I coudn't help myself pressing spacebar again and again :-D.
Great graphics, but the minefield random as hell - got 79100 points and had no way to go through it :). It would help to use patterns or maps that player CAN go trough.
