neat concept. i think flixel was a bad choice - it so heavily impacts the visual aesthetic that the game is left with an uncompromising clash between what you see and what you hear. early 90s graphics + 2008 post-prog pop-rock. i'm not seeing the connection.
The illustration is a lot like the Submachine series - not a personal favourite, but certainly not a bad thing. It was a little too easy, but that won't be noticed if this truly is continued as a series. Do it! 4/5
There are a lot of great things (depth, asset creation, length, etc...) about this game. Seems like this whole series was created by one person - I certainly applaud the work-ethic and commitment to the project. That said, the dialogue is simply terrible and there is far too much of it. Clearly, there was a lot of time and effort put into these games, but the thing that is unfortunately the most noticeable is the need of a real writer. 4/5, hire a writer on the next project for that last star.
this game is aesthetically pleasing, but thats where it ends. based on how computer can make astonishing comebacks in every game, i highly doubt the dice are random. unfortunate, it COULD be a neato game
