I've finally reached the Pinball Wizard! I've reset everything, and I'm scouring to see what to spend my 4 mana on. Oddly enough, my multiplier is still 15x. Shouldn't it be 1x? I double-checked, and all of my upgrades have been completely reset.
I'm on the Side Business tab now, and the descriptions are a bit vague. I'm thinking "Retain All Basic Upgrade Retainers" refers to all the upgrades on the far left tab, and "Retain All Ticket Upgrade Retainers" refers to "Tripler Assistant" and "Current Score Exp Assistant"? I'm making some big decisions soon.
Since in the beginning everything moves very slow, it makes a BIG difference to buy a gatherdwarf when there's wood right next to the home. Otherwise they take forever wandering to the water.
Okay, here are my issues: walking speed is WAY too slow (upgrading speed does pretty much nothing), initial MP Regen could really use a boost from 1MP/Sec (HP Regen is double that with starting ring, which I didn't swap out until much later). Everything should be ditchable for exp, since at the beginning inventory fills up quickly with potions. Finally, there's a great deal of useless loot; I kept my +2 HP Regen ring until level 9 (almost half the game) since nothing better came up.
It's definitely got potential, just needs a few changes.
Okay, a few quick things. It's a great game, and I'm about halfway through, but I already see some issues.
There needs to be clarification between "Rangers" and "Archers". Certain upgrades affect only "Archers", but the whole tab is labeled "Archers" should be ("Rangers"). Also, doesn't say whether arrow upgrades affect Snipers and Crossbowmen as well (since they use bolts).
Finally, there are a LOT of grammar mistakes. Sorta kills the mood for me. A game takes a LOT of time to make, and getting someone to proofread your work takes 10 minutes.
Thanks for feedback! You can't believe me, but it was already proofreaded. But looks like that proofreader was broken :( And I found out that there are lots of typos from players :( Then I hired another one, and currently waiting for the result.
By the way, there are over 5700 words in this game :)
Not sure if anyone else has this issue, but it is VERY difficult to UnEquip items. The only way to do it is to re-assign Equip to other items, but sometimes it's stubborn and won't cycle through my three slots. It won't let me UnEquip my Stud Bracer, and when I equip other items it instead UnEquips the other two items in my slots. Am I missing something?
I generally don't read the comments before getting somewhat through the game, to save myself from spoilers. Didn't think I'd need to read them to save myself from a glitch that would make me start over. I don't even want to redo the last 20 minutes. How do I know this won't happen an hour in?
There has GOT to be a place to grind for gold that's lower level than the current arena. I never have the gold to pay for abilities before I level-up, and now I just can't beat the next guy so I'm stuck.
Not sure how I feel about them rebuking difficulty complaints. In my opinion, it's not just that the achievements are too difficult, it's that the game is too monotonous. I don't want to run around hitting things with just a spoon (need an upgrade at some point) while the enemies wittle away at my health (need a healing method) for an hour while trying to get the hard achievement. That's not fun for me.
Maybe it's just me, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm having a very hard time making my hotel profitable. My reviews are excellent (no one complains about anything), my hotel's 21 floors tall, and I've distributed all the services and entertainment evenly. Yet every month my profit's in the negatives. Am I doing something wrong?
Have you talked to Jaden yet?
